Maura Tierney!
The one and only Abby Lockhart from ER! Way back when when Abby first came onto ER she was one of my first crushes right up there with Laura Innes but Maura as Abby has always had a special place in my heart! I just totally adore her acting and I was seriously looking forward to her being on the Parenthood, but sadly Maura was diagnosed with Breast Cancer earlier this year and could not be on the show due to her treatments. As it is currently breast cancer awareness month, this situaiton has reminded me to remind all women and even men to check for lumps and for the women to schedule your mamograms annually! It is very crucial for early dectection of brest cancer as it could mean the difference between life or death.
I would also like to extend my well wishes to Maura and wish her a speedy recovery from her illness!
