First and foremost I would like to formally apologize for any anger, resentment and name calling that might ensue when I am writing this blog! But I fear I may seek down to a lower level! Apologizes in advance!

Honestly, what’s up with the give the gays their rights and then having the majority of the people vote to take them away again? I mean lets be honest if women’s right’s or blacks rights were left up to the hands of voters way back when, NEITHER would probably have any rights today! Given the amount of racism and woman hating that still goes on in the world today, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if that had been the case. But it wasn’t! Women and Blacks were both given equal rights and it wasn’t left to the hands of the voters!

I can honestly say, that I am disappointed in the people who voted for this act, first you let prop 8 pass, then you left question one in main pass? Honestly, do you any of you people who voted for either of these props feel good about yourself? To take away an entire community of rights just cause you personally believe its wrong? Really? Is that honestly the case? Because if it is, each and every one of you is a disgrace to the human race!

I hate to be so bitter and angry about it, I really do! It’s not like me to become this overly angry but it’s happened twice! I can’t believe it’s happened twice! I mean seriously there isn’t any reason why those rights should have been taken away other than sheer ignorance and stupidity and if that’s me calling people names then so be it because EVERYONE who voted for this act is either stupid or ignorant!

I’m tired of listening to the reasons behind why we should protect marriage, why we should protect families because really its disgraceful! You protect marriage people are all about protecting marriage for straights and look at the type of disgrace bring to that. People who marry 5,6,7 even 9 or 10 times, oh yea, that’s really a wonderful thing to protect. People who sleep around, and constantly cheat on their spouse, yea, really again, that’s a wonderful thing to protect! 48 hour marriages, drunk marriages, spur of the moment marriages, marriages that don’t last past their first year! Really? Really? This is the type of thing you think is sanctified? How on fucking earth is any of that sanctified? Look at your marriage stats and look at them good 85% of marriages don’t make it past the 5 year mark!!!!!!!! And I as a gay person want the right, the legal right to have a chance at that? I am honestly beginning to ask myself why….Truly I am!

You protect marriage people are a disgrace to marriage! YOU ALL ARE! your sham marriages, your 48 hour marriages, your under the influence marriages and yet you have the audacity to say that I, one measly gay person, who wants to marry another gay person is ruining what marriage is all about? Sorry not buying it! How can I when you people ruined marriage before gays ever wanted it? There is no comparison, none whatsoever to say that your marriage is good and ours is not. How can you? How can you defend yourselves and say that your marriage is sacred and ours is not, when you destroy it, spit on it, and ruin countless lives in the process?

You use countless excuses on how God says it is wrong, and how we will go to hell if we are gay. Yet, your people are the ones who kill us in Gods name. Your people are the ones who call us names, spit on us, hurt us, take away our Legal Rights as human beings and WE are the ones going against God? Again, NOT BUYING IT!

You lump together with child molesters, rapists and people who have sex with animals and yet, the majority of child molesters are STRAIGHT MEN! And ALL those groups do those things because they want power, have been abused in the past, or they are just plain sociopaths and want to hurt countless innocent lives. A gay person does not force someone to be with them, we fall in love same as you. A gay person does not want to hurt a child nor is automatically a pedophile! A gay person does not want to sleep with animals! And those that do any of those things, gay or straight, should be punished rightfully! Those are the bad people, the ones who seek out to harm children. Are they quite possibly sick, yes but any of those above actions is just wrong! And you should know the difference! Know that gay people aren’t any of those things just because they are gay! If they are any of those things, it isn’t because they are gay, its because they are sick, just like any straight person in the above mentioned groups! And any of those people should be in jail no matter what orientation!

There is no difference between a gay person and a straight person! Each of us, all of us gay and straight alike are born the way we are. We all love with our hearts and souls, we all want to fall in love with our dream person, get married, have families and pets and homes of our own. We all bleed the same color blood, and breathe the same air! No matter how tall, how short, how gay or straight we are, we have but one heart, one soul, and that is what makes us human!

God loves us all, no matter how much you want to believe otherwise, he does. He loves each and every individual human being! He doesn’t pick and choose and neither should you! If you do, then don’t call yourself a person of God, don’t say you are doing what God wants! Because what God wants is for us to spread happiness and love. We have to stop hurting each other and look past all our outward differences, all of our religions, all of our orientations and look into each others souls, look into each others hearts and pull out that love, that undying love that we should all have for our fellow humans and spread around. Then, then we can be classified as people of God.

We only have but one mere live to live and if we can’t live it peacefully, and love our fellow human despite our differences then we wont survive as a species! It’s honestly surprising that we have made it this far along the evolutional chain!

And before I close this post, I just want to say how sorry I am to the gay people of Maine for your devastating loss of equality! But I am confidant that someday all of your rights will be restored!

As I always close my disheartening posts, I just want to remind you all to give each other a hug today. Hug a friend, a sibling, your kids, your family, hell even hug a stranger, just spread that love! The world is lacking in it already so any little glimmer of it can make a persons day!
